I'm already Songmaker for another forum and want to share some songs here too
The songs I'll share are the one I made (and not from other songmakers !!)
If an admin want confirmation, we can talk by PM. (I'm from the Ultrastar Asian Songs Community)
I'm a C-Pop fan, the song will be : By2 - Bu Ku Le (No more tears)

The BPM of the midi file was 120, I've set it on 240 'cause 120 is too low ^^

For mixmeister I don't use it, because it's not always accurate.
Also I'd like to know what it will change ?
I don't mind adapting the BPM of the song with to one given by Mixmeister in place of the one of the MIDI (that had a good tempo).
I just want to know 'cause if I put the pitches at the right moment, it's okay isn't it ?

If I must do a song with you from scatch, okay I'm going to edit the thread for it.
And I'll follow the step given to me, I'm always open to learn new things.

But I've got a music sheet.

In attachement the mp3, and txt so far (with no edit)

I've set the BPM as given by Mixmeister (140), and multiplied it on Yass (ctrl+m) to set it at 280
I do prefer higher BPM, I always try to be between 250 and 350.

I've also added the principal information (album, year, cover, ..., )
oh yeah, must put the edition on UAS & UEspana (It's my way to know for whom I share my songs )

If it's okay so far, may I begin pitching and toning ?

The BPM of an mp3 is important because makes easy synchro using guidelines YASS. Besides, the midi BPM is almost always a simulated speed of 120 and notice that the notes does not match well with the melody you want. In short, it is something that is considered in the valuation of each song. The suggest value goes between 200 and 400.

We use official editions as Singstar, Rock Band, etc., and own editions for Christmas songs, parody or anime too, among others. That's why you have to remove the label you mentioned.

Yes, if you get the sheet music with vocal tones, it helps. I can correct you any changes in pitches.

PS: rename the subject with the new song name.
Just a suggest: don't you prefer to use Hanyu Pinyin lyric?

- Put the edition away (no edition)
- Subject was already renamed for the first, didn't saw the second ^^ (done)

For the pinyin, I do both (So people chose which one they prefer)
And when I add chinese characters, I do both too (Traditional and simplified).

For the one I'll share here, is it a problem if I share both, or do you prefer I only do hanyu pinyin ?

I'll begin with the pitching tomorrow, and try to finish it for sunday.

I've finished the song, but did not tested it fully at the moment. And haven't made de hanyu pinyin
(I'll make that later once I'm satisfied with the pitching/toning)
I'm voiceless at the moment ("cause I sang all day with friends), so I can't test the song for the moment.

But I'll share what's done till now, and let me know what you think about it for the moment.

The synchro is very well made, good. It would only have to review the duration for a few notes.
As for the tones, mostly right, it remains to be correct and add change in pitches for some notes.

I also have some technical corrections...
The title should be clean, this is relevant, the name whereby is known on the cover or playlist. In this case, "Bu ku Ke" or "No more Tears". However, you can add an alternative title in comments.

Okay, I've tested it a couple of time.
I've made some changes (moved some pitches, made some longer/shorter, and so).

The toning seems good, there are some pitches that I've hard to get while singing 'cause the tone is too high for my voice :mrgreen:
But I'm pretty sure I should not make any change in the tone (they're accurate).

Don't be alarmed with these corrections but we are demanding in these areas

I reviewed it and here some improvements in tones:
line 1: "zhe" goes with change in pitch of 16 to 17 with notes duration 2 and 1 squares, like "zhe-~". "le" only one note length 5 squares. In this case is vibrato technique, as a rebound.
line 2: "zhòng" goes with change in pitch of 16 to 17 with notes duration 2 and 2 squares, like "zhòng-~". "de" length 3 squares and the auxiliary note starts 3 squares before.
line 3: "le" only one note length 5 squares.
line 4: "zhe" with change in pitch of 19 to 21 with notes duration 3 and 20 squares.
line 5: "zuì" with change in pitch of 20 to 21 with notes duration 2 and 2 squares. "zhí" with change in pitch of 19 to 17 with notes duration 3 and 2 squares. "de" with change in pitch of 17 to 19 with notes duration 2 and 3 squares.
line 6: "bù" with change in pitch of 19 to 17 with notes duration 2 and 2 squares.
line 7: "shǒu" with change in pitch of 19 to 17 with notes duration 1 and 3 squares. "tú" with change in pitch of 17 to 14 with notes duration 2 and 3 squares. "le" with change in pitch of 19 to 17 with notes duration 2 and 23 squares.

Also, the length of the notes it still need to be polished, mostly because is still hear the voice and the note ends early.
For ex. line 2; "tīng" lasts 4 squares. "shuō" 6 squares. "nǐ" 6 too.

I'll look again for the length. I'd like just to add something about it.

Sometimes I shorten pitches for various reason :
- fading voice (the end is fading and it's just complicated to tone/pitch that)
And for all word put a "~" and descending tone and so, it would just be hell to sing all that ^^

- change of sound in a word. Like "ting", I put a pitch for "ti" and not for "ng".
When I began songmaking I did that, but I saw after that that it was difficult to follow on Ultrastar when singing.
It's like I would seperate syllabs in english like for the word "when" I would pitches it like that : "Whe-n"

So sometimes I ignore some sound, like in "shui", it's said shu-e-i, but I can't make pitchs for all those sound
And even if I didn't how should I put them ? Like that ? : shu-~-i ? When I see that, I want to sing shu-u-i xD
So I'll only pitch the "e" sound and ignore the "shu" and "i". Well, sometimes those are quite pronounced, so I pitch them, but mostly not.
Same goes for "yo-u", I'll only pitch "yo" the "u" sound is often a fading sound.

- end of sentence/line begin of new sentence.
I always try to have 4 square space (at least 2) between the end of a pitch, and the breaking line (and same goes for the begining word)
So sometimes I have to shorten the end pitch ^^

- Breathing
Just so that while singing, you have time to go from one to another word without missing syllabs/caracters
Did you knew that 4 squares length is 0,2 sec ? It's quite short to pronounce the begin of a word and then have the pitching sound at the right tone

For me, in line 2 : ting (3 squares) shuo (4 squares) ni (4 squares)

These methods we applied to everyone, which is why give these indications with which I learned and continued for new members on the website.
The subject of spaces between notes, is 1 square minimum space between them and make sure that never touch each other, and always putting the lengths as similar as possible to what one hears, is a standard.

In unique cases -I have not mentioned before- that can be shortened notes at the beginning or end of them is when a sound like "sss", "tss" or similar.
Is usually from complications of the game, this can not record these sounds well and marked incorrectly.

You can check any of the songs uploaded in recent times and you'll get an idea of the changes in tones/pitches .

Ranges of golden notes are 1000 to 1500 max. you have 940, puts more golden notes
The #ALBUM tag is not allowed, and it is not implemented on the website.

I don't know at all but am pretty sure the some syllabication is not correct for the romanized of Chinese characters, because is a phonetic notation and works together.
On the other, does not look good internationally speaking, that would be like syllabication English "spice" as "s-pice".
That's why I was saying about adding "~", for ex. line 5, 23 "zuì", line 25 "shǒu".

For the uncommon page break, no problem (it's just me that put the page break at 4 / 8 or 12 squares when editing the song)
For the Golden notes, how do you see the points ? I always try to fit what Yass tells me (like having 80 golden for this song)

I also do prefer not to cut "words" in chinese, it's just that seeing kuài-~-le (for ex) is quite bothersome, and certainly when you have in a whole song lots of "~"
If you don't know the song (or not too well), you don't know what to sing when reading the lyrics ... that's why I though of doing kuà-i-le, but that's not better :/
So I've put again all ~ in the song and erase all separation of words. (also for zui / shou and so on)

Well, made the changes, tested it. Got a lot of trouble to have all those "~-~" it's like i'm forcing myself to get those, and not singing the song like it sounds.
It doen't seem to me to have that much intonation changes.
Like with "nǐ". I know it's pronounced "ni-i" (lowering then ascending) but for me it seems to be on the same tone in this song
(Not like going "ni-I")

Couldn't get the "bù" in line 10, 28, 41 and put it one squere before (maybe it's just me singing it to soon).

For the rest, made the change in golden notes, also re-named the mp3, video, cover and folder to "By2 - Bù kǔle"

Must be some step you did not do.

Share your song file... here you have to ensure that the routing of the song (that is in your pc) is the same it shows you when downloading. Then will check the file and indicate 100% complete.

I've created the RSS channel, and it begun downloading all song I've downloaded so far on UEsp.
Had to remove some torrent file, I'm actually seeding more than 200 songs.
So I presume the RSS works.

The Medley is requested, if you want to add, you can do it with the Yass Editor.
Choose a song, select the lyrics and right button "Set to selection Medley" and save.
